Future of ERP systems
When predicting the future of ERP, it is important to look back to its past. ERP systems have been developing gradually. At first, they were solutions for production resources (especially production and warehouse resource planning). The functioning of ERP was then enhanced by the introduction of web and open source technologies. ERP II constitutes the most advanced stage of ERP software development and as such it should be looked into closely. The direction of ERP development in the near future is thus an important question in this context.
